At Middlesbrough Cricket Club, our junior section is built on creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where every player can develop and enjoy their cricket.
We aim to balance a healthy competitive spirit with player development, ensuring all children are encouraged to be the best they can be while being given opportunities appropriate to their stage of development.
We recognise that every child is unique. Players develop at different rates across technical, physical, and psychological aspects, and our approach reflects this understanding.

All junior players are encouraged to wear the official club kit during training sessions and matches. The club kit represents more than just clothing—it plays a key role in player development, team identity, and overall experience within the club. All Junior players from U11’s age group have been issued with a new match top for the 2026 season, all other club kit items can be ordered and purchased via The MCC Motif8 Club Shop.

Use of our all-weather and grass nets are strictly for Middlesbrough Cricket Club members only and Junior members must be accompanied by a responsible adult or coach
